Hot on the heels of the Beatles 
Our design hotel at Hamburg's famous landmark “Michel” reflects on the special connection the Beatles have with our Hanseatic City. The Fab Four played their first major concerts at Star-Club on Große Freiheit, and the original lettering in our Starclub Bar pays tribute to this claim to fame. What the Beatles are to music, we endeavour to be to design. Model ships and ship lights, a photographic collage featuring aerial views of the port of Hamburg and pendant lights made from old pulleys characterise the maritime design of our Motel One Hamburg am Michel. Some of the most important sights of the city are located within walking distance of our hotel: the Reeperbahn, the port and the floating dock (Landungsbrücken). 
The city centre with its Neuer Wall promenade, which connects Jungfernstieg and the Stadthausbrücke bridge, offers endless shopping opportunities for discerning customers. If you are travelling to Hamburg for business, you will be glad to know that the Messe Hamburg exhibition grounds are only one kilometre away from our hotel. Culture enthusiasts, too, will love the location of our Motel One: it is within close proximity of the Stage Theater and Elbphilharmonie, making it a perfect base for a night of music and the performing arts. Alternatively, take your family to the nearby Miniature Wonderland for a fun-filled day out.
